Adult Ministries
From time to time our church plans events and/or activities geared toward adult outreach. For example, men’s basketball, Men’s Fraternity, Propel, ladies sewing group, and women’s events. Aloha! If you would like to be part of planning, promoting and executing events, this might be a ministry for you.
Building Maintenance & Grounds
Do you know how to fix things? To clarify, we aren’t talking about duct tape! Or maybe you like to mow grass? We are in urgent need of a team of 5 to wax our Life Center floors. We need your help!
Celebrate Recovery
Opportunities include security, nursery, Celebration Place (ages 5-11), The Landing (ages 12-18), or adult leaders. Background check is required to help with the children. Maybe you like to cook? We provide a meal every Friday night and need all the help we can get! Can you sing well or can play an instrument? Opportunities are also available for the musically inclined.
Children/Student Ministry
A background check is required to serve in this ministry. Our church is crazy blessed with children! We are looking for nursery helpers who love babies and enjoy toddlers…in one hour spurts. Our nursery serves so many young families and is set-up as a rotation; so ideally, you’ll never have to miss consecutive weeks of worship service.
As our littles grow, we need more adults willing to invest in children during Sunday School, Junior Worship, #FBCKids Club on Wednesday nights (Sept 6th- Dec 6th) and our GMA (Girl’s Missionary Auxiliary) on Mondays. We are looking for fun, but assertive role models who will teach the children foundational Biblical truths. (Curriculum provided.)

Adult sponsors are needed at times for teen activities, and COW (Church On Wednesday for teens). Other seasonal needs are coaching Upward Basketball or Cheer-leading, VBS volunteers, and other various opportunities that come up. Completing the form, will let us know we can call you for back up!
Do you have a deep hunger for God’s word and a gift for teaching? We need more adults willing to feed our congregation the truths of God’s Word. If your heart is to teach — one on one or in a class environment — please let us know!
Greeter

Do you have a friendly smile, firm handshake or a gift to gab (but not too much)? Greeters are needed for worship services, Upward, VBS, #FBCKids Club, and special activities.
Hospitality/Visitation
Do you like to display the love of Christ to others in practical ways? Are you compassionate toward the hurting, the sick or the elderly? We need people who can play an impactful role in people’s lives by visiting someone in need.
Other needs within this ministry could include meal preparation for funeral dinners, Celebrate Recovery and/or families in crisis. We may also call upon you to help as a concession stand worker during the Upward Sports season.
Or what about your home? Please let us know if you are interested in hosting a small group for community groups, or in opening your home to visiting pastors, missionaries or ministers passing through.
Volunteering

Our security team is extremely important in helping keep everyone safe. This position is on a rotation. Currently, this team is developing a check-in process for our children’s ministries. Ideas? Send them in!
Security
Background check required for this position. We need trustworthy people who are good drivers to use the church van to pick up folks who simply need a ride. Opportunities to serve include Sunday morning, Wednesday night, Friday night and special events.
Transportation Ministry
This ministry is responsible for production elements in the worship services. This includes; sound, lights, projection and video. We work hard to provide an environment free from technical distractions. If you have experience or any expertise in any or one of these areas, please let us know.
